Onboarding to Workshop
Purpose of this guide
This guide is meant to explain the process for requesting a new Workshop account, including the information to send to Workshop in order to get started.

The process
1. Request a Workshop namespace
Send an email to inquiries@cloud.gov expressing interest in using Workshop.
If you know the following information you can send it in the same request, or we can collect it all from you in follow up emails.
All of these values can and should be updated as your needs change.
- Name for your Workshop namespace
- The default visibility of your namespace
- The initial users who should be granted access to your namespace
- Names for which of those users that should be assigned as owners
- The initial runner egress configuration

We'll make sure your agreement is set up for Workshop service and get your namespace provisioned.
2. Configure and use your namespace
Once your namespace has been created by the Workshop team, follow the namespace configuration guide to set up your user roles, subgroups, and projects.
