Onboarding & Accounts
Prerequisites
- Valid Email: .gov, .mil, or .fed.us for sandbox; federal agency IAA/MOU for production.
- Technical Lead: Familiarity with Twelve‑Factor App principles and the Cloud Foundry CLI (
cf). - Authentication: PIV/CAC or TOTP/SAML-enabled SSO for sandbox and production based on your agency's identity provider.
Registration Process
- Sandbox
Visit https://cloud.gov/sign-up/ and register with your .gov, .mil, or .fed.us email. - Production
Coordinate IAA/MOU with GSA; submit signed agreement to inquiries@cloud.gov.
Tip: Early sandbox experimentation accelerates production onboarding.
Account Types
- Sandbox: Free, limited‑quota access for evaluation and proofs of concept.
- Production: Full‑feature, quota‑based spaces billed under your IAA/MOU.
Roles & Access
